At Alternative Education-San Joaquin, the student:teacher ratio has fallen 62% over the 5-year window — from 23.1:1 in 2021 to 8.8:1 in 2024. The gap vs US average of 15.4:1 has narrowed — from 7.7:1 below in 2021 to 6.6:1 below in 2024.
