At Sutter County Special Education, the student:teacher ratio has risen 18% over the 5-year window — from 8.8:1 in 2020 to 10.4:1 in 2024. The gap vs US average of 15.4:1 has narrowed — from 6.6:1 below in 2020 to 5.0:1 below in 2024.
